I am an independent journalist, the former editor-in-chief of American Demographics magazine (1985-98), and former board president of The Finger Lakes Land Trust and The Cornell Daily Sun. I attended Deep Springs College (1976-79) and Cornell University (1980-81), and have lived in Ithaca NY since graduating with a history degree. Download a longer bio here.
